Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon – coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup – popcorn, unpopped kernels
  • 1 tablespoon – coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoon – maple syrup, pure
  • 1/2 teaspoon – cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon – salt

Directions

  1. Heat 1 teaspoon coconut oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add 3 kernels of popcorn and wait for them to pop.
  3. Once the kernels start to pop, add ½ cup popcorn kernels, cover and allow to pop, shaking occasionally until popping slows to a near stop.
  4. Pour the popcorn into a large bowl and set aside.
  5. Whisk together 1 tablespoon coconut oil, maple syrup and cinnamon until well combined. Pour over the popcorn and mix well.
  6. Sprinkle with a few pinches of salt, mix again and taste. Serve immediately with additional salt to taste.
